Spanish Fork City is proposing to increase its property tax revenue.
The Spanish Fork City tax on a $293,000 residence would increase from $138.59 to $159.70, which is $21.11 per year.
The Spanish Fork City tax on a $293,000 business would increase from $251.98 to $290.36, which is $38.38 per year.
If the proposed budget is approved, Spanish Fork City would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 15.23% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth.
All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase.
