2023 Election Details: Declaration to Candidacy June 1-7, 2023 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with the City Recorder. Primary Election August 15, 2023, General Election November 7, 2023. Three (3) at-large City Council Member positions, for four (4) year terms, from January 2024 to January 2028.

June 1-7: Candidate Filing period
Sep. 5: Last day to qualify as a write-in candidate
Financial Disclosure Deadlines
Aug. 8: Financial disclosure due for candidates on the Primary Election ballot
Sep. 14: Final financial disclosures due for candidates eliminated in the primary
Oct. 10: Financial disclosures due for candidates on the General Election ballot
Oct. 31: Financial disclosures due for candidates on the General Election ballot
Dec. 7: Final financial disclosures due for candidates on the General Election ballot
Primary Election Dates
June 9: Last day to withdraw candidacy - name removed from ballot
June 12: Candidate info to be published on spanishfork.org
July 3: Deadline for candidate profile on state website
July 25 - Aug. 8: Vote-by-Mail ballots mailed
Aug. 4: Last day to register to vote
Aug. 8: Last day to request a replacement ballot by 5pm with the County Clerk
Aug. 15: Primary Election
Aug. 16-28: Canvass period
August: Board of Canvasser Meeting (TBA)
