Come and join us for our summer production of The SpongeBob Musical!

Kara Poulsen will direct the SpongeBob Musical with Paige Stephenson as the assistant director. Maria Lewis will be the music director and Madi Valgardson will be the choreographer.

Auditions will be held April 17,18,19 6-9 pm and April 20 9 am-Noon. They will be held in the choir room at Diamond Fork Middle School, 50 N 900 E in Spanish Fork.

Callbacks by invitation only on April 27. If there are conflicts on the 27th, please reach out via sfct@spanishfork.org and we will make an accommodation.

Performance dates: July 18, 19, 20, 22, 24, 25, 26, 27.

Come prepared with 24 to 32 bars or 30 to 45 seconds of an upbeat, modern musical theater song. You may do so acappella or audio equipment to play backing tracks will be provided. Please download your song to your device before the auditions. Don't count on being able to access the internet at auditions, service is unreliable. A pianist will also be available at auditions.

SpongeBob will be open-casting. The director is hoping for adults/older teens for the adult roles.

If you are cast in the show, please plan on attending the opening cast meeting on April 30th at 6pm in the Diamond Fork Middle School cafeteria.

FAQ

Age range: We have limited roles for children ages 8-11. Children ages 8-11 must have a parent at every rehearsal. This is a great opportunity for families to audition together (or plan to attend each rehearsal with your child).

We will have a large teen/adult ensemble. Ages 12+ may audition/attend rehearsals without a parent.

Rehearsal start date/schedule: In early May, rehearsals will generally be Tuesday-Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings with additional days as we get closer to show dates. Additional rehearsals may be involved depending on the role.
