SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
July 9th - 18th
Tennis Tournament The Fiesta Days Tennis Tournament offers singles, doubles and mixed doubles to men, women, boys and girls of all ages and abilities. The tournament will be held from July 14 through July 19, 2008. Youth divisions are usually scheduled for the morning hours (8 a.m. - 12 noon). Adult divisions are scheduled for evening hours. Please call the Parks & Recreation Office at 798-5068 for more information. All fees should be paid in person at the Parks & Recreation Office or mailed in. Entry Deadline is Thursday, June 26th.
Baby Contest Join us this year for Fiesta Days Baby Contest. It will be held Saturday July 14th from 10:00 am to 1:00pm at City Park. The ages are from 0 to 36 months. There will also be a theme division. Download Registration Forms, and return them to Spanish Fork City Hall or Treasured Moments.

- A Girl and Boy winner will be selected in each category.
Winners will be announced @ Movie Night at the Sports Park - Monday July 16th FREE! Movie starts at dusk - approximately 9 pm. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy Charlotte's Web starring Dakota Fanning on a 70-foot inflatable screen.
Registration Fee is $10.00 (We would like all participants to pre register by July 13th. Registrations can be dropped off at city hall or at Treasured Moments.
A 4 x 6 professional photo will be included with the registration fee for ALL babies.

9th Annual Flag Retirement Ceremony with a Tribute to the Armed Forces
Wednesday, July 18, 7 pm.
Outdoor Arena at the Fairgrounds
A favorite annual tradition to honor and to respect our country. The Utah National Guard along with the American Legion and the assistance from local Boy Scout Troops, will properly retire Macey's 50' x 30' flag. Featuring a 21-gun salute. The national anthem, fly over by Apache Helicopters and speakers will highlight the program. Congress has authorized flags worn beyond repair to be destroyed by fire in a dignified manner, showing respect and reverence. Any personal flags you may have can be dropped off at the City Office or the National Guard office in Spanish Fork. Scout troops, gather your old flags to be retired, and bring them ½ hour prior to the ceremony. Scouts please be in full uniform to participate. Contact: Thad Jensen (801) 798-2374
2nd Annual Fiesta Days Talent Show The 2nd Annual Talent Show Competition will be held 18 July 7:00 pm at the American Leadership Academy and will be open to the public. There are 3 categories for the acts including: Instrumental, Vocal, and Dance. The winner of each type of act will receive a $50 cash prize. The application fee is $3 and must be received with the application no later than 13 July at 5:00 pm., contact Minola Jacobsen at 794-2568, to apply fill out the application and send it to Minola.

DUP Museum Exhibits and Baby Quilt Sale FREE admission. July 20, 21, 23 from 10:30 am - 4:30 pm; July 24 after the parade until 4:30. Daughters of Utah Pioneers Museum located at 400 North Main.
Stock Parade Friday, July 20, 6:00 pm. Bring the kids to see livestock close up while they parade down our City streets as a kickoff to the rodeo. This parade starts at 700 East Center going West to 100 East, and continues south to 100 South. Enter your stock if you like. Contact: Yvonne Ericksen 360-9415.
5th Annual Kickball Challenge. One of the big hits or "kicks" of the Fiesta Days celebration is the annual Kickball tournament - where you can play just like when you were in grade school. The fun begins Friday, July 18th at 7:30 pm @ the Sports Park West Complex on the softball fields. The West Complex is located at 493 West Volunteer Drive.
Eight players are on the field when on defense. All players can kick when on offense. Six inning games. Players must be entering the 10th grade (Fall 2008) and older to be eligible to play. Only a co-ed division will be offered. Awards for top teams! Get your team together early and practice (You may need it!). Come have TONS OF FUN! Please call the Parks & Recreation Office at 798-5068 for more information. Team fee (covers 10 players) is $60.00 and should be paid at the Parks & Recreation Office. Spanish Fork Community Theater's Production In honor of the 50th anniversary of Dr. Seuss's Cat in the Hat this year, the Spanish Fork Community Theater is delighted to bring you Seussical the Musical. This musical is a fun and family-friendly show about a young boy and his wild imagination. Many of Dr. Seuss's well-loved characters make an appearance in this show, including Horton (from Horton Hears a Who), Gertrude, Mayzie, and of course, the Cat in the Hat.
Performance dates will be: July 18, July 19, July 20, July 21, July 23 at 7:30pm.
There will be one matinee show on July 24 at 4:00pm. Tickets available at Booth Brothers Music, Artistic Floral or at the door.
