Festival of Lights Hayrides

On the 15th Anniversary Year of the Festival of Lights, a new attraction has been added!!!

Holiday Hayrides departing from the Spanish Oaks Clubhouse parking lot will allow groups to enjoy an open air ride through Canyon View Park while enjoying the wonder of the 2007 Festival Lights display.

Cost: Groups will be charged according to size. $40.00 per Hayride with 1-20 riders; $50.00 per Hayride with 21-30 riders; $60.00 per Hayride with 31-40 riders. The maximum capacity will be 40 people per Hayride. If your group is larger than this it will be necessary to book an additional Hayride.

Dates: Tuesdays & Wednesdays in December prior to the Christmas Week – December 4 & 5, 11 & 12 and 18 & 19.

Times: 6:00 p.m., 6:45 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. A 9:00 p.m. time may be added if there is a demand.

Groups should arrive at least 10 minutes prior to their departure time to receive instructions and get loaded. Hayrides will leave promptly at scheduled time. Guideline sheet will be available at the time of booking.

Dress appropriately and bring blankets if desired.

Hayrides must be pre-booked and pre-paid. Times are limited!! Call soon to reserve your spot. Call the Parks & Recreation Office at 798-5068 to pre-book your Holiday Hayride.
Office hours are Mon-Thurs, 8 a.m.- 6 p.m.; and Fridays, 8 a.m.- 4 p.m.

After calling to reserve your spot, payments must be received as soon as possible. All Hayrides must be pre-paid in the Parks & Recreation Office.

Hayrides Rules & Guidelines

• Hayrides will depart from the Spanish Oaks Clubhouse parking lot promptly at the scheduled time.
• Groups should be ready to load at least 10 minutes prior to their departure time. They will also reveiw instructions and guidelines at this time.
• Dress appropriately (warm clothes & layers) and bring blankets if desired.
• Groups with participants under 18 years of age MUST have ADULT supervision.
• Riders must stay seated at all times when trailer is moving.
• No getting on or off at anytime while the trailer is moving. Riders must remain on the wagon at all times during the ride.
• Do not throw any objects.
• No horse play!
• Maximum of 40 person capacity per Hayride.
