Festival of Lights Fact Sheet

Several of the Festival of Lights displays are animated and contain motion lights or moving parts (*denotes an animate/moving display).

The drive-thru Poinsettia Arch is 40 feet wide by 29 feet high, and greets spectators at the beginning of the route through the park.

The waving Santa Claus* is 14 feet wide by 15 feet high.

The Festival of Lights* entrance theme sign is 20 feet wide by 23 feet high.

The Water Fountain* sprays 20 feet high with an 18 foot diameter. The fountain is lit from the base, providing a spectacular effect on the water.

Pink Tree — A large tree has been decorated with over 17,500 miniature pink lights. The pink tree is located in back of the lake.

The Sea Serpent* perched on the lake is 48 feet wide by 12 feet high. A second hump was added to the serpent this year! The Lighthouse is 15 feet wide by 24 feet high.

Three Whales join the sea serpent in the lake. The large whale is 18 feet long and 12 feet high, and the two baby whales are each 12 feet wide by 9 feet high.

The two Swans* are 8 feet wide by 9/12; feet high.

The T-Rex Dinosaur is 9 feet wide by 11 feet high; the Brontosaurus is 12 feet wide by 16 feet high; the Montanaceratops is 12 feet wide by 5 feet high; the Stegosaurus is 12 feet wide by 6 feet high; the Volcano* is 18 feet wide by 18 feet high.

3-Dimensional Deer — 10 three-dimensional deer can be seen at the festival amid the trees. The adult deer are 5/12; feet high by 17 inches wide. Two baby deer are part of the herd.

Geese* — a flock of flying geese will be found in the trees above the deer. The geese measure 6 feet long by 5 feet wide.

The small Mountains are 12 feet wide by 12 feet high; the large mountains are 16/12; feet wide by 15 feet high. The five Skiers* are each 6 feet wide by 8 feet high.

Horse-Drawn Sleigh — The huge sleigh and horses are 34 feet long and 15 feet high.

The winter sports park village includes a woman decorating the medium-sized Christmas tree. She is 6 feet wide by 7 feet high; the girl nearby is 3/12; feet wide by 5/12; feet high; the Hotel is 16/12; feet wide by 14/12; feet high; the Ski Shop is 14 feet wide by 15 feet high; the Olympic Village is 15/12; feet wide by 14/12; feet high.

The 16 Archways/Tunnels are 24 feet wide by 20 feet high.

The Snowman* is 8/12; feet wide by 13 feet high; the small Snowflakes are 2 feet wide by 2 feet high; the large snowflakes are 3 feet wide by 3 feet high.

The four Messenger/Buglers are each 9/12; feet wide by 12 feet high; the Fountain* is 8 feet wide by 18 feet high.

The Toyland Arch is 30/12; feet wide by 32/12; feet high. It is part of a lighted tunnel.

The Toyland Castle is 33 feet wide by 30 feet high.

The two Toy Soldiers* are 8 feet wide by 19/12; feet high; the Clock is 8 feet wide by 24 feet high.

Toyland area—The Toy Drum* is 9 feet wide by 9/12; feet high, the Toy Top is 4 feet wide by 7 feet high, the Toy Bear is 7 feet wide by 8/12; feet high, the Duck Pull-toy is 8/12; feet wide by 6/12; feet high, the Doll is 8 feet wide by 7/12; feet high, and the Ball is 6 feet wide by 6 feet high.

The Jack-in the-box* is 8 feet wide by 18 feet high; the Rocking Horse* is 15/12; feet wide by 12 feet high; the Christmas Stocking is 10/12; feet wide by 16 feet high.

Lighted Trees — The real trees are packed with lights and are over 70 feet tall.

The five large gifts are 5 feet wide by 6 feet high; the four small gifts are 4 feet wide by 3 feet high. The small Stars are 2 feet wide by 2 feet high; the large stars are 4/12; feet wide by 4/12; feet high. The large Candy Canes are 3 feet wide by 9/12; feet high; the small candy canes are 2/12; wide by 7 feet high; the Lollipops are 2 feet wide by 8 feet high.

The four Train* cars total 27 feet wide by 8 feet high; the Train Depot is 9/12; feet wide by 15/12; feet high.

Santa Moon — A smiling moon with a festive Santa hat hangs in a tree behind the train. The moon is 10 feet high by 7 feet wide.

The North Pole directional sign is 13/12; feet wide by 12/12; feet high.

Two three-dimensional, wood carved Polar Bears are included. The standing bear is 5 feet tall. The walking bear is 4/12; feet long. Added last year were six festive Polar Bears! The Bear on the sleigh* is 6/12; feet wide by 7/12; feet high; the Bear falling down is 6/12; feet wide by 5 feet high; the Bear Couple is 6/12; feet wide by 8/12; feet high; the Bear in the ballerina skirt is 6/12; feet wide by 6 feet high; and the Bear in the scarf* is 6/12; feet wide by 8/12; feet high.

The six Penguins* are each 3/2; feet wide by 7 feet high; the Igloo is 13/12; feet wide by 10/12; feet high.

The Santa's Flying Sleigh is 11 feet wide by 8 feet high; four Reindeer* are each 9 feet wide by 11 feet high.
