G. Wayne Andersen was elected November 3, 2009 as Mayor of Spanish Fork City, and his Oath of Office was administered January 5th 2010. This is his first 4-year term as Mayor. He previously served 4 years as a member of the City Council. Mr. Andersen serves on the following boards and commissions:

- Fairgrounds Committee
- Fire/Ambulance Retirement Board
- Personell Committee
- Rodeo Committee
- UMPA & SUVPS Alternate
