Wastewater Reclamation Facility

Spanish Fork City has approximately 50 miles of sanitary sewer pipe throughout the city. These pipes range from 4" to 36" in diameter. Each individual residence has a sewer lateral running from the house to the city sewer pipe in the street. These pipes collect the sewer waters and transport it to the wastewater reclamation facility at the North end of town. There the sewage is biologically broken down into solids and pure water. Currently no reclaimed water is used in the city of Spanish Fork for either culinary water or irrigation water.
