Pressurized Irrigation

General Information

Spanish Fork City has approximately 100 miles of pressurized irrigation pipe throughout the city. These pipes range in size from 4 inches to 36 inches. Each individual residence typically has a 1 inch pressurized irrigation lateral running from the yard to the city pressurized irrigation pipe in the street. Currently all of Spanish Fork's pressurized irrigation system is supplied from wells and one spring. This has allowed the city to use some poor tasting well water for something other than culinary use. Pressurized irrigation water is not treated and should never be used for drinking. It is generally available from April 15th to October 15.
