 The engineering department oversees the construction of new development in the city, ensuring that these projects meet city standards.
Scheduling and Inspection
To schedule a public works inspection, fill out an email request form. Include the subdivision, plat, address and type of inspection. Inspections are not officially scheduled until you receive an emailed reply with your inspection time verified.

Types of Inspections Inspections are required for but not limited to the following items:
- Sewer Lateral
- Water Lateral & Meters
- Curb & Gutter or Sidewalk
- Road Sub-grade
- Road Road-base
- Underground Electric
- Final Subdivision Walkthrough
- Excavation Permits
- Chlorine Test
- Pressure Test
