Traffic Accident Requests

In order to obtain a copy of a Traffic Accident, you must have either been involved in the accident or be the insurance company representing one of those involved. You will need to provide the following:

• Identification
• Date of Accident
• Other Driver (if known)
• Traffic Accident # (if Insurance Company Request)
• $3.00 Fee
• $5.00 per disc of digital photos

Incident Crime Reports - GRAMA

In order to obtain a copy of a report, you must be the subject of the record or the legal guardian of a minor listed on the record. You cannot receive a copy of the report until after it has been adjudicated. (If you are the arrestee in the case, you can obtain a copy through Discovery at the Attorney's Office while the case is still active.) If you are trying to get the report in behalf of another individual, you must have a signed and notarized third party release.

The law provides 10 working days for us to process your request (5 days if you can prove that you must have an expedited response.) When you make a request, you will be required to fill out a GRAMA Request Form and provide the following information:

• Photo Identification
• Date(s) of Incidents Requested
• Description of record and reason for request (must be described with reasonable specificity)
• Case Number (if available)
• $3.00 per report or hourly wage for employee to do research if record is not readily available

Incident/Crime Report/Insurance Purposes

If you are the victim of a crime and need a copy of the police report in order to collect from your insurance company, we will provide you with an abbreviated copy of the report or a Theft Letter which will verify the fact that you reported a theft and list the property which was either damaged or stolen along with the reported value. You will need to provide the following:

• Identification
• Date of Crime
• Description of Crime
• Case Number (if available)
• $3.00 Fee

Police Clearance

Police clearances are provided for the purpose of International Travel (including Missions). We can provide these in English and Spanish. You will need to bring with you a written request for the information and picture identification.
