You'll walk out of this class with a song or your very own in your pocket, and the tools to write more of them. Basic skills on the piano or guitar will put you ahead of the game and help you to share the things you write, but there's a home for you here even if you don't play an instrument. We'll listen like crazy to some terrific songs and we'll learn why they're terrific. We'll write a ton, and we'll take a good look at each other's work in comment and critique sessions. We'll discover the virtues of co-writing, and dabble in it. Join us, and we'll take your songwriting to the next level. If you've got skills on an instrument, it'll help.
