** New in the Children's Department: Literacy Backpacks for pre-readers. These backpacks are designed to promote one of the Early Literacy Skills. Each contains a book and activity and will checkout for one week.

Programs beginning in January.

Mother Goose Time 10:15-10:35 Mondays and Tuesdays. This fun literacy enhanced story time for toddlers will include fun stories, some music and movement and other fun activities.

Preschool Story Time 11:00-11:30 Tuesdays and Wednesdays. This lively, fun, literacy enhanced story time is perfect for preschoolers.

Story time 3:00-3:30 Wednesday. **The first story time of each month will be a bilingual story time. For all ages, this super fun story time will be presented by volunteers and/or library staff.

ABC KIDS 1:00-1:45 Wednesday, or 10:15-11:00 Thursday. This class is offered for 4 & 5 year olds who will enter kindergarten next fall (2010). This is a fun, literacy enhanced, structured story time which will include learning some skills to help them prepare to enter kindergarten. Sign-up is required.

Totally Tweens 4:00-4:45 Thursday. For ages 8-12, this class will keep kids excited about reading. They will be introduced to some great chapter books and also have many fun activities.

Game Day 5:00-6:00 Thursday. Come play board games, Rock Band & Dance Dance Revolution.

Family Movie Night 6:00 Thursday. Check with library for movie titles, and please remember that not all movies are appropriate for all ages.

Mother/Daughter Book Club will be held on Thursday January 21st and March 18th at 6:30. Sign-up required.
