Understanding Your Bill

1. Due Date
   Current utility bill is considered late if payment is not received by Spanish Fork City on or before this date.
   
2. Billing Cycle
   Base rates are charged during the billing cycle. If you move in or out during the billing cycle, the base rate for each service will be prorated.
   
3. Service Address
   Location where utility services are being provided.
   
4. Previous / Present Reading
   Readings for metered services. Please note – reading dates vary from billing cycle dates.
   
5. Multiplier
   If a meter has a multiplier on it, it will show here. These are typically on large user accounts.
   
6. Total Consumption
   The difference between readings on metered services.
   
7. Total Charges
   Calculated totals for each service.
   
8. Prior Balance
   May show if money is due or a credit is available.
   
9. Services
   List of services and charges.
   
10. Account Termination Date
    If the utility account has been terminated a date will show here.
    
11. Total Charges if Paid in Full by
    This amount may be paid to avoid a late fee, service fee, or shut off fee.
    
12. Total Charges if Paid After
    Any payments received after the due date will be charged a late fee. This amount includes the late fee.
    
13. Please Note
    Payments received after the 20th of the month will not show on this bill.
