Brief Bio:
Tim was raised in the very small farming community of Panaca, Nevada. From this rural beginning, he has lived in Utah for the past 30 years, of which more than a third has been in Spanish Fork. Tim built his own home on the Spanish Fork bench and has thoroughly enjoyed the hospitable surroundings which this community has to offer. He has watched the town grow from a relatively small community to the city it has become today. Timothy graduated from BYU's computer science department and has worked in Utah's private sector ever since. Tim is currently employed in the Sprinkler
World division of Harward Irrigation Systems located just down the road in Springville.
Tim is married to Venus Ernst, who works for the Nebo School District as a Literacy Specialist. They are the parents of eight children, each of whom has grown up in Spanish Fork, attended it's schools and call Spanish Fork home!
Why Are You Running For Spanish Fork City Council?
The wonderful city of Spanish Fork has given me many happy years and I feel a sense of "obligation" to repay this "debt of gratitude" to the city and it's populace. Spanish Fork is a truly great city which has been very well served in the past by former City Council members, the Mayor and City Staff. I feel that I can help contribute to the efforts they have made and provide additional insight and guidance as the city grows and expands.
