Spanish Fork High Safe After Physical Altercation Leads to Lockout

 

Spanish Fork, UT —Around 10:25 a.m. on Thursday morning, Spanish Fork High School was put on lock out as a precautionary measure after four individuals were involved in a physical altercation on campus.

Three juvenile suspects, who are not Spanish Fork High students, arrived at the school and instigated a fight with a student that attends Spanish Fork High.  It was reported that one of the individuals was grabbing at his waistband as if he possibly had a gun. A gun was not seen and the individuals fled after the altercation. There is not a credible threat at the school.

By the time police responded to the school, the individuals involved in the altercation had fled the scene. 

The lockout was lifted at 11:53 a.m.

This is still an active investigation.
