Missing 2-Year-Old Found in Canal Deceased:
Spanish Fork, UT- On July 7, 2023 at 8:42 AM Spanish Fork Police were dispatched to American Leadership Academy 898 West 1100 South Spanish Fork Utah on a report of a missing 2-year-old child. The child was at the football field with his father who assists with coaching. The child was last seen on camera exiting the football area to the West on Mill Road. Spanish Fork Police along with several volunteers began searching the area around the school. Spanish Fork Fire & EMS assisted in the search. Around 10:13 AM the child was located submerged in an irrigation canal near a debris grate approximately a ¼ of a mile away from the football field and school. Spanish Fork Fire & EMS began life saving measures but the child was pronounced deceased. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family as well as the ALA community.
